The Bridal Glam

We planned a glam bridal photo session, then the snowstorm hit. I reveal even more this was the only day when it snowed during the whole winter in Poland. Can you imagine? Only for one day!? The next morning everything was melted. Most importantly snowstorm did not ruin our spirits. I was extremely happy for such rough weather conditions… but hey, I guess it wasn’t about me, fully dressed up in a long winter jacket and boots I got from Canada.

Shout out to our fearless Bride, dressed in a beautiful vintage wedding dress with transparent sleeves, what gave the feeling ‘without sleeves; and bare feet wearing high heels. On top of everything you could hear me saying during the shoot ‘Can you pretend like it is freezing cold?’ 😉

We took pictures in front of an abandoned house, luckily the door entrance was under a small roof which gave kind of a safe place to hide from the snow.

Bridal Portraits

Bridal Portraits is an absolute MUST HAVE in my photography dictionary. After looking at all of those images above, don’t you agree? There are two methods of doing that kind of sessions, the most popular is Bridal Portrait Session planned days or even months ahead of a Wedding Day. Later on, most of Brides decide on having printed canvas, photo album or a slight show during Wedding Day as a surprise for guests and Husband. Advantages are endless for this photography sessions from testing wedding makeup, hairstyle, fitting dress and having pictures taken in a beautiful location of your choice etc.

Therefore I introduced long time ago Bridal Portraits for all destination Weddings, taken on a Wedding Day. I believe each Bride deserves having that kind of pictures. That is why I try to generate (sometimes even I beg!) for 20 up to 30 minutes with Bride and Groom only, on a Wedding Day. In a meantime, I shoot my Couple together as well Bride and Groom separately. We do it before or after the Ceremony. However my focus remains mostly on a Bride, don’t blame me, please!

In Bridal Portraits taken above, we had approximately mentioned time-frame for pictures to take. Straight after Ceremony, we rushed to the nearest park. And those are the results. Engagement, Miami Beach, Cam and Javon

Apparently pouring rain in Miami Beach, 20 minutes before our Engagement Photo Session had a great outcome, empty South Beach. I met this lovely Couple at Great Bridal Expo in downtown Miami, where I was one of the vendors with my Wedding Photography. I never met so many Future Brides and Grooms in one day! The atmosphere was amazing, Love was in the Air cause so many Couples were in love and everybody was planning a Wedding.

But let’s come back to the photo session above. Cam and Javon are absolutely lovely Couple. We had so much fun working together, especially when our prop – round ball decided to leave us. We all could not stop laughing! However Javon caught it 😉 Cam is also a Positive Influencer so make sure to check Her Instagram

By the way, can you imagine this is my first day at home/my real desk since the Expo? Guess what was I doing today? Unpacking two suitcases from the recent trip to Miami, unpacking one suitcase from Paris and Cape Verde and packing one suitcase for another 10 days travel! Leaving tomorrow again 😉
