The Travellers Palm

The  “traveller’s palm” has been given this name  because the sheaths of the stems hold rainwater, which can be used as an emergency drinking supply,specially for the travellers. Mahe Island, Seychelles.  Photograph was scanned by myself using light box and SLR camera. But not all pictures has good colours like this one.
